Adventure Studios Creative


Design, permitting and development of a first themed entertainment facility by a U.S. entertainment studio in China. Conceived and placed in Beijing within a one year period following business plan preparation. The unusually fast-paced, fast-tracked project was conceived by Universal's then parent company, Seagram, as a market entry vehicle among the parent company's various products. One organizing principal, among several, was Woody Woodpecker as the faciilty's ambassador to new Chinese consumers. The popular Walter Lantz character was one of two walk-around characters at Universal Studios Experience Beijing, working alongside Fievel Mouskewitz, Steven Spielberg's popular character from "An American Tail." Client: A Joint Venture of Henderson Land Development (Hong Kong SAR) and Universal Studios, Inc. Worked completed by Don Bredberg while Exec in charge of project at Universal Studios Recreation Group.
