Adventure Studios created alternative design approaches for show architecture design at this major mixed-use development project in Hong Kong. The objective of the work was to create a compelling sense of excitment to the approach, stop, and exit, at the transit station and rail line that traversed past the front exterior of this project.
Recommended conceptual approaches included various uses of show systems and multi media displays integrated in the overall show architecture.
The "show architecture" design included a 95-meter-long throw span light-emitting diode panel at eye level for train commuters; specialty lighting; iconography; and video projection that uses a new view-glass technology. As envisioned that building would glow from within evoking the appearance of a grand urban lantern, and the signage and building surfaces would change appearance according to the time of day and with each guest visit.
