Fashion Show Mall - Las Vegas
Alternative Big Ideas were explored, along with preliminary creative treatments for a proposed "fashion media village" at Fashion Show Mall, as the central hub and primary organizing principle for this major regional retail center. Fashion Show Mall has since undergone a large-scale redevelopment and re-opened to the public in Fall '03.
Fashion Media Village was envisioned as providing an eye-on-the-world, putting shoppers "in the know." The electronic media connection was considered vital in creating a real extension of the worldwide fashion industry, as it was unlikely for Las Vegas to emerge as a next center for Spring and Fall designer runway fashion shows.
Rather, Fashion Show provides one of the great places for the fashion industry to meet the fashion consumer, at one of the best known street addresses in the world's #1 adult recreation destinations - Las Vegas.
